Social media can be deceiving. Lighting, poses and even photoshop can be what your favourite role models, influencers, actresses, tikokers use on their social media.

This can be very toxic and demoralising if we don’t realise that that is not reality 99.9% of the time.

regardless of how much you exercised last week
regardless of what you ate last night
regardless of what you think you ‘should’ do

Self love, confidence and respect is necessary for basic wellness and sanity- let’s face it… who wants to feel always not good enough??

How to start feel confident in your body? Try this>
In the mirror, if you are feeling insecure and don’t particularly like something you see because of societies perceptions, see that and say “I love ____that part of me”

You may not believe it the first or even 8th time, but self compassion and kindness is confidence.

Every body is unique. I may not have wonderful curves or boobs but I do have strong legs, thick (sometimes bushy) hair and an infectious laugh.

I know I needed to hear daily reminders of this, because seemingly perfect photos are all over the media everyday.

We are more than our bodies, on the left was taken seconds apart from the one on the right. I love them both!
